His Approach to architecture:
Albert Speer was influenced by Professor Heinrich Tessenow. His view that "simple architecture was good architecture was something that Speer always remembered. Albert Speer liked the simple and classic style of Doric Architecture from Ancient Greece. However Hitlers view was purely political and he wanted it to express all of the power and strength that his regime had in Germany. In the design briefs that Albert Speer gave to Hitler he was sure to include drawings of how the buildings would look in 1000 years so Hitler could see how they would last and stand through time. His work was to create and make a practical contribution to the image and popularity of the Nazi regime they would basically become large forms of propaganda. Speer's pavillion at the World Fair in Paris in 1937 was designed to make a political statement about the power of Germany for all of the 31 million visitors to see.
